Dear customers and friends,
The news of the COVID-19 outbreak is currently the front and center of focus for everybody. While the situation and information are still rapidly changing and evolving, the safety and well-being of our customers, as well as our employees, is of the utmost concern right now and always. We will continue to follow guidance from federal, state, and local authorities and implement all recommendations from the CDC in our daily practices.
With this in mind, we will be implementing new guidelines for the following days as this situation continues to unfold. Please review the following information as it applies to your move. Keep in mind that if these guidelines are not followed, it may result in your move being postponed or canceled.
All Moves, Both Local and Long Distance:
Customers will be required to supply the movers with hand soap and a sink on-site to wash their hands throughout their time there. We will require all employees to wash their hands every hour on the hour.
To promote social distancing, we will do our best to keep a minimum of 6ft between everybody, including employees and customers alike.
While we will continue to do our best to perform your pick-ups and deliveries on a normal schedule, please keep in mind that delays are possible as the situation unfolds. We will continue to monitor recommendations from authorities and update our customers with any new information.
We are also strongly recommending the following actions by our customers to help us at this time:
People at high risk for COVID-19 (who are over 60, already sick, or have underlying health conditions) should schedule or postpone their moves.
Reduce the number of people at your home during the time of your pick-up and delivery. While we require the customer to be present for paperwork, please consider just one point of contact for the crew.
While it is very nice to supply food or lunch, such as pizza, to our crews, please refrain from doing so.
Again, the safety and well-being of our customers and employees are our greatest concern. This is a very challenging time; please assist us in making informed and educated decisions about moving and COVID-19. We want to make sure we can continue to assist people who need our help relocating in the coming months.
